CANYONING in GRENOBLE – ISÈRE
Isère is one of France's richest departments for canyoning. VERTIC'O has put together a selection of the best canyoning descents around Grenoble, in the Vercors, Chartreuse and Bauges massifs, which are also accessible from Lyon, Valence and Chambéry. From playful to technical canyons, there's something to suit all tastes and abilities. Our aim is not to make canyoning an elitist sport, but to enable everyone, beginners and experts alike, to enjoy the activity.
Come and (re)discover the not-to-be-missed canyons of the Vercors, such as the Furon canyon or the Ecouges canyon, which is one of the most beautiful descents in France, or embark on an adventure in the Chartreuse in the Infernet canyon, with its water-sculpted passages and unique atmosphere! Jumps into beautiful pools, natural slides, abseiling down waterfalls, zip lines and all the other surprises we can't tell you about here are waiting for you to share a moment of pleasure over half a day or a full day.

CLIMBING, VIA FERRATA and VIA CORDA in ISÈRE
Discover the beautiful cliffs of the Isère with VERTIC'O!
The climbing sites and via ferrata and via corda routes we offer are all in the vicinity of Grenoble or Chambéry, in the Vercors or Chartreuse massifs.
We've been passionate about climbing for more than 20 years, and we'll be delighted to help you discover this vertical environment using :
- our technical knowledge acquired through our training but also our many years of personal practice, travel and experience.
- our knowledge of teaching methods from our work as year-round climbing instructors.
We'll guide you along the via ferrata and via corda routes in Isère and Savoie, including the Bastille in Grenoble, the wild via ferrata route at Col du Chat and the via ferrata at St Vincent de Mercuze, for a great introduction to this activity. Groups will be kept small to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

VERTIC'O also offers introductory or advanced climbing sessions indoors, on cliffs or on large-scale routes (big climbing routes, the multi-pitch).
And because we know it's hard to choose, we can also help you with any projects combining climbing, via ferrata and/or canyoning !

VERTIC'O has a wealth of experience in the voluntary sector (we work all year round with a number of climbing clubs, schools and leisure centres) and can help you realise your project. Don't hesitate to contact us and we'll work with you to find the site and activity best suited to your needs. All our via ferrata and canyoning descents are in the Grenoble area, close to Lyon and Chambéry.
