VIA FERRATA IN THE CHARTREUSE MASSIF

Via Ferrata routes have been created in the Chartreuse massif, a limestone massif in the Pre-Alps that stretches across the departments of Isère and Savoie. Even if this massif brings to mind the 11th-century liqueur that bears the same name and is exported all over the world, Chartreuse can also rhyme with Via Ferrata! From the Bastille in Grenoble, via the Roche Veyrand to the brand new via ferrata in the Grésivaudan valley at Saint Vincent de Mercuze, all these via ferrata are part of the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park. An area rich in flora and fauna, but also with an impressive variety of landscapes!

Here is our selection of fun via ferrata of varying difficulty in the Chartreuse (Isère).
